An innovative way to learn what Chamber members want for their business to succeed.
The process started because the Chamber wants to be proactive, not reactive, with our members. To learn what members wanted in their employees for their business to succeed, the Chamber opened a Business Roundtable wherein six business leaders, three large, one medium and two small, interacted with ~ 30 of their peer business leaders. The results clearly demonstrated what members wanted and a series of seminars were developed. The first was "Doing Business in Social Media". A resounding success, we had 54 attendees; 80% completed evaluations of the meeting and not one 'negative' comment was received. Based on this success, a 2nd seminar, "Successful Communications" has been developed and will be held in August.
