Sharing Your Member News

Alan Byrd
Share your news allows our members to broadcast any company news to more than 6,000 people and creates lasting SEO for members
Fully using ChamberMaster's News Release program, we started allowing members to submit news releases to the chamber about whatever they interpreted as news. We post each news release on our site for one year and encourage members to insert hotlinks to increase their external links. On Friday, we take the first two sentences of every release and put it in a single email that is quick and easy to read with links to the full release on the news release. It is modeled after the daily update released by the Business Journals. The email is sent out to more than 6,000 people, giving businesses of all sizes an opportunity to promote their company to thousands for free. We will also work with smaller businesses to help them write their first release. The chamber team and our ambassadors promote the service. Over the past 12 months, more than 500 releases have been submitted to the chamber for distribution. And it is well received. One example:the director of public relations for the University of Central Florida said: "I pick up a lot of useful information from the newsletter."
